Copper comes to Hollifield Leadership Center after five years on the staff at First Baptist Church, Hickory, NC, where he served as Church Administrator.

Copper has gained broad management experience in both for-profit and non-profit organizations and has held a wide range of leadership positions in the local church.

"My passion is helping to equip Christian leaders to use their gifts, personalities, and preferences to do the work to which God has called them," Copper says. "A well trained and empowered Christian leadership community will lead congregations to accomplish more in areas of missions, evangelism, and discipleship. What we do at Hollifield Leadership Center has a ripple effect throughout our state, nation, and world."

Copper is a certified coach through the International Coach Federation as well as Valwood Christian Leadership Coaching. A graduate of Stetson University in Deland, FL, he is also Certified Church Administration with the National Association of Church Business Administration.

He lives in Lenoir, NC with his wife, Chelo, and their three boys.
