Staff

As Food Service Coordinator, Mike oversees all food-related functions and staff. Mike, a graduate of Appalachian State University, comes to Hollifield after a long career in food service and catering.

Mike and his wife Donna live in Lenoir and are members of Lenoir’s First United Methodist Church. Both of their children live in Boone, NC. Mike is a graduate of Disciple 1 and Disciple 2 Bible Study courses taught at First Methodist, and is an active member of the Usher Team.

Mike sees his position at Hollifield as the next step in God’s plan for his life. “I’ve been preparing for this position all of my life. God has been getting me ready for this for some time. I’m glad to be a part of this team and a part of the ministry here at Hollifield”, said Heavner.
