Reaching Out: Hollifield Leadership Center

Effective use of the Internet is an important communications goal for Hollifield, and the Lake Hickory Learning Communities. We launched this site in order to meet people on their terms -- giving them the information they want, when they want it.

Needed: Timely Editing

Currency of information is the essential ingredient of the Internet; sites must be kept up to date in order to deliver value. We keep information current on this site through the use of a Content Management System (CMS) that stores text and visuals in a database. Using the CMS does not require special tools or technical skills. We can edit the content or add new pages at any time, in plain English.

Response: Bryan Consulting

The site was developed by Bryan Consulting, a firm of senior professionals in technology and communication. They configured the site to use the editing features of their CMS, and they host our site on their servers at a national data center. They teamed with WebSanity to set the content architecture and usability, and create the user-interface and visual design.

HLC is a ministry owned and operated by Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and financially supported through fees for services and by the generous Cooperative Program Missions Giving of affiliated congregations.
